“Sobriety Checkpoint” in Cecil County, Maryland – January 21, 2017

On Saturday, January 21, 2017, Law Enforcement agencies from Cecil County will be conducting a “Sobriety Checkpoint” in Cecil County, Maryland. Officers will be focusing their efforts to identify and remove impaired drivers from Maryland’s roadways.

In conjunction with the checkpoint, there will be aggressive DUI Saturation Patrols in and around Cecil County. Officers specially trained in identifying and detecting impaired drivers will be utilized to complete this assignment.

The Maryland State Police strongly encourages citizens who chose to consume alcoholic beverages to plan ahead, designate a driver, and find a sober ride.
