Recycling Public Advisory Council to meet March 17 in Dover

The Recycling Public Advisory Council will meet from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 17 at the DelDot Administration Building, 800 Bay Road, Dover.

Topics on the agenda include:
Public comments

· Approval of the minutes from the Feb. 17 meeting
· Recycling legislation
· Old/new business
· Scheduling of future meetings

The Recycling Public Advisory Council was re-established by Executive Order No. 90 in September 2006 and charged with advising the Governor’s Office, DNREC and the Delaware Solid Waste Authority on all aspects of recycling, including development of grant criteria and selection of applications; a methodology for measuring recycling rates; and possible outreach activities designed to achieve higher recycling rates.
