Political Rivalry with a Heart: Easterseals/CAI Volleyball Challenge

Will the Democrats continue their streak to catch up or will the Republicans hold on to the lead? Find out at the 12th annual “Democrats vs. Republicans” volleyball match – an event to raise awareness and dollars for Easterseals services for people with disabilities. This rematch will take place at the Easterseals/CAI Volleyball Challenge on Sunday, February 26 at 1p.m., at a NEW location, William Penn High School – 713 E Basin Rd, New Castle. The game will follow a Legislative Pregame Kickoff. The Republicans are up seven to four.

Now in its 36th year, the Easterseals/CAI Volleyball Challenge raises funds to help Easterseals provide critically needed services for children and adults with disabilities in the region. CAI, a leading information technology consulting and outsourcing organization, is Title Sponsor for the 13th year. Founding Sponsor, Canada Dry is on board once again. Last year, the Volleyball Challenge raised more than $352,000 for Easterseals services. Since 2001, more than $4.7 million has been raised. This year’s fundraising goal is $400,000.
The Easterseals/CAI Volleyball Challenge spans a three-day period from Friday afternoon, February 24 through February 26. Teams consist of 6 to 10 players who play in a 90-minute rotation. Prizes will be awarded for the top individual and team fundraisers. Also on hand will be the 2017 Easterseals Volleyball Ambassador Journey, and her family, of Smyrna.
