Easton, MD, November 11, 2009 – The Eastern Shore Writers Association will hold an annual public reading of prose and poetry on December 12, 2009, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Third Haven Meeting House, in Easton, MD.

“Members are invited to join in the festivities by providing a five-minute reading from their work during the Open Mic portion of the meeting. Those reading will sign up at the door” says Judy Reveal, ESWA President. “Non-members are encouraged to join in the fun.”

It would be helpful if prospective readers could time their reading in advance, keeping to the five-minute time period.

The meeting is free and open to the public, with coffee, tea, cider, and water provided. Members may wish to bring holiday cookies to share, and add to the country-themed decorations by wearing holiday vests and sweaters.

ESWA is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization supporting writers and the literary arts across the Delmarva Peninsula. For more information visit the website www.easternshorewriters.org, or contact: Judy Reveal, jreveal@verizon.net.
