Washington College senior Rachel Glasser (Silver Spring, MD/Springbrook) earned All-America honorable mention in the 500 freestyle today at the NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships at the University of Tennessee. The 500 freestyle was the first of three events she will be swimming at the meet.

Six Washington College Field Hockey Players Named to NFHCA Academic Squad

Six Washington College field hockey players have been named to the 2010 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III Academic Squad. Student-athletes selected for the squad have been nominated by their coaches and have attained a minimum overall grade-point average of at least 3.30 through the first semester of the 2010-11 academic year.

Washington College Softball Names Three Captains For 2011

Washington College softball head coach Lacey Lister has named her three captains for the 2011 season. Juniors, outfielder Leigh Carbutt (Collegeville, PA/Perkiomen Valley), outfielder/second baseman Kristine Cunningham (Levittown, NY/Island Trees) and third baseman Sally Snover (Charlotte, NC/Myers Park) were named as the three captains for the Shorewomen.
