Assawoman Wildlife Area road closures announced due to boat ramp improvements

The access road to Mulberry Landing Boat Ramp on Assawoman Wildlife Area near Bethany Beach will be partially closed periodically over the next two to three weeks for boat ramp improvements including bulkhead replacement, DNREC’s Division of Fish & Wildlife announced today.

MD State Police Rescue Stranded Boaters in Sommerset County

On November 2, 2014 at 7:35 pm, Trooper 4 the MSP helicopter based in Salisbury and Trooper 3, the MSP helicopter based in Frederick, were dispatched to perform an over water search for five persons who became stranded on a small island southwest of Crisfield in the Chesapeake Bay.
