2016 Fishing Licenses in Delaware Expire December 31, 2016

DNREC’s Division of Fish & Wildlife Natural Resources Police remind anglers that starting January 1, 2017 it’s time to purchase their 2017 Delaware fishing licenses, as 2016 licenses expire December 31, 2016. A valid fishing license is required for fishing, crabbing and clamming in Delaware in both tidal and non-tidal waters.

Lighthouse overnights in St. Michaels this spring

Youth groups can now reserve spring dates for the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum’s Lighthouse Overnight Adventures program. Dates include select Fridays and Saturdays, March 31 through June 24, 2017 with advanced reservations needed for groups of 12 to 18 children and their chaperones.
