Weekend Deaths of Four Bald Eagles in Sussex County, DE Being Investigated

Gala raises $126,000 for Compass Regional Hospice

More than 200 hospice supporters attended the Compass Regional Hospice Gala held at Annie’s Paramount Steak & Seafood House in Grasonville on March 4, 2016. Continuing a tradition of giving that has sustained hospice in Queen Anne’s County for 30 years, the Gala guests helped raise $126,000 for hospice care and grief support programs.

Wicomico County Health Department Awarded National Accreditation

The Wicomico County Health Department announced today that it has achieved national accreditation through the Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB). Wicomico Health is one of fewer than 200 health departments that have thus far achieved accreditation through PHAB, the non-profit organization launched in 2011 that administers the national public health accreditation program.
