Kratovil Announces Nearly $4 Million in Federal Funds for Maryland Counties Still Dealing With Costs of Winter Storms

Maryland’s Governor O’Malley Announces BPW Approval Of 175 Acres Of Rural Legacy Preservation In Queen Anne’s County

Governor Martin O’Malley today announced Board of Public Works (BPW) approval to purchase a 175-acre conservation easement located in the Foreman Branch Rural Legacy Area of Queen Anne’s County that will protect valuable agricultural lands and implement significant water quality protection measures in the Chester River Watershed. This transaction will extinguish 22 development rights.
