MD Toll Facilities Anticipates a Busy Thanksgiving Weekend

As the Thanksgiving holiday approaches, the Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) reminds motorists to travel during off-peak hours, stay alert and plan ahead to avoid travel delays. Based on traffic counts from previous years, Wednesday is expected to be the heaviest travel day, with many travelers also expected to hit the roads Tuesday.

Weather permitting, on Sunday, Nov. 8, 2015 from approximately 12:01 a.m. to 2 p.m., the eastbound span of the Bay Bridge (US 50/301) will be closed temporarily to traffic for the "Across the Bay 10K" running event.
