Ride for World Health To Finish at Bethany Beach on May 14, 2016

Ride for World Health (R4WH) is a cycling team and 501(c)(3) organization founded in 2004 and based in Columbus, Ohio, centered around an annual 3,300-mile ride. This year’s ride, the 11th R4WH has undertaken, began on March 24 in San Diego, California and will finish in Bethany Beach, Delaware on May 14, 2016.

Weekend Deaths of Four Bald Eagles in Sussex County, DE Being Investigated

DNREC Fish & Wildlife Natural Resources Police are investigating the deaths of four bald eagles in Delaware over the weekend. One of the eagles was found dead near Dagsboro Saturday morning. The Point at Cape Henlopen State Park to close for 2016 beachnesting season

The Point at Cape Henlopen State Park, including a stretch of ocean beach and dunes, and a half mile along the bay shoreline, will close beginning Tuesday, March 1, for the benefit of threatened and endangered beachnesters and migratory shorebirds, including red knot, piping plovers, oystercatchers, least terns and other species.
