Calling Checkmate – Weekend’s Chess Tournament!

Test your chess skills at Wicomico Recreation’s 2010 Chess Tournament this weekend on Saturday, February 6 at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center. The tournament is open to youth as well as adults and will consist of an Elementary, Middle, High School, Adult Rated and Adult Unrated Division. Participants in the Adult Rated and Unrated Divisions are welcome to bring their own sets and clocks. Trophies will be awarded to first, second and third places.
Participants are encouraged to register in advance online at www.WicomicoRecandParks.org or in person at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center Box Office (500 Glen Avenue Salisbury, MD open Monday-Friday from 8am to 5pm). Prices at the door the day of the event are $12 for Youth and $15 for Adults.
