Steven G. (Steve) Atkinson is a long time resident of Maryland’s Eastern Shore. He as born on a family farm in Kent County, Maryland in 1958 and is a proud graduate of Kent County High School Class of 1976.

He left the area in 1980, although not too far since it was just over to the western shore residing in Howard County for the next 20 years.

With family residing on the shore his heart was never far away and jump at an opportunity that brought him back to Kent County in 2000.

For the past few years he has been working at a number of projects. Along with his development of the Web sites ShoreToBeFun.com, DelmarvaUSA.com as well as this one. He has been working as an independent Technology Consultant as an adviser to Small Businesses assisting them in getting the correct technology for their needs. He is the publisher of the site Technology Tips for SMBs.

He is also the publisher of the trivia related website 6 Things To Consider.

Recently I announced that I am going to seek the office of Kent County Commissioner. It will be my attempt to keep political commentary out of this site. For this reason it is my intentions not to place any items onto this site that may be political in nature unless they are supplied to me by another or via a PSA or Press Release.

However, since I also operate ShoreToBeFun.com, which is a tourism themed site, I will be voicing comments and opinions about, and promoting tourism on, the Delmarva Peninsula.

In the past I have posted news items related to Kent County that came from meetings I have attended as a private citizen. Since it would be impossible for me not be attending these types of meeting in Kent County and to a lesser degree Queen Anne’s, Cecil and Caroline Counties in Maryland and Kent County Delaware as a candidate, I will not be posting first hand news for these counties. Again unless presented to me by another means.
